Honourable J.H. Mensah Position: Independent Director Mr. Mensah is the former Chairman of the National Development Planning Commission of Ghana, an advisory board that reports directly to the President and to Parliament. He is also the former Member of Parliament for the riding of Sunyani East. Trained as an Economist, Mr. Mensah is widely respected in global development planning including formerly with the United Nations. Previously, he held the post of Minister of Finance and Economic Planning and latterly as Leader of Government Business, head of Economic Management Team, and senior Minister of the Government of Ghana. He was also a member of the African Advisory Council of the African Development Bank. Mr. Mensah also recently retired as an Independent Director of AngloGold Ashanti Limited.
